asian pacific american bar association of virginia
Join us for an evening of connection and community at the Local, Diversity, and Specialty Fall Fellowship Festival, a celebration hosted by the Asian Pacific American Bar Association of Virginia (APABA-VA) and the Northern Virginia Chapter of the Virginia Women Attorneys Association (NoVaWAA). Also co-sponsored by the Arlington County Bar Association, NovaBAA, HBA, McGuire Woods, The Soc Law Office, Ain Bank, and Friends of Irene Shin.
This family and pet-friendly event welcomes members of the legal community and judiciary—along with their spouses, children, and even pets—for a relaxed and festive gathering. Enjoy games like putt putt and cornhole, and the chance to unwind and get to know one another outside of the courtroom. Each ticket includes one food ticket and one drink ticket.
A highlight of the festival will be the announcement of the winners of the Special Edition Painting Series, Women in the Law—a collection commissioned and curated for this event by locally honored and celebrated, award-winning D.C. artist, author, and educator MoLove J. Simmons, who will be a special guest at the event for photographs with the winners. The series is being auctioned online, with 75% of proceeds generously donated to the NVWAA Mount Vernon High School Scholarship Fund, supporting students as they apply for and begin college.
We will also be collecting gift cards for Friends of Fairfax JDR for GALs to take their wards shopping for the holidays!
The auction is LIVE now! Check out the link here (also pasted below). Don't miss out!
